A little about me and why I'd like your vote on 6th May

Alison Wheelhouse

I would like voters to judge Candidates on what they have done for the town; choose people who don't just talk a good one!

Purely as an unpaid volunteer, this image shows some things I have already spent the past 5 years doing for Beaconsfield. If I can do this as a volunteer, I can do so much more if I'm voted onto Bucks Council and Beaconsfield Town Council as your Independent Councillor. As an Independent, I would be free of Party control so that I can represent you without being "whipped" to follow a Party line.

Many of you will already know me as the Chairman of the town's Civic Society, The Beaconsfield Society. I spearheaded our amazing Save Our Green Belt Campaign for the past 5 years and which resulted in the daft Local Plan being withdrawn by Bucks Council at the end of last year.

This saved the town from housing estates of 1600 homes plus a business Park all

on our Green Belt.

Vote for me on 6th May and I will fight against any repeat performance by Bucks Council. I will also fight to sort out the fiasco which is the Road to Nowhere. More on that in another blog post.
