On 6th May you will be able to vote in these 2 elections:
1. for new Bucks Council councillors (3 councillors for Beaconsfield) plus
2. for a new Beaconsfield Town Council too.
You will be able to vote for more than one person. For Bucks Council, you will be able to vote for 3 Councillors.
For Beaconsfield Town Council, you will be able to vote for a number of Councillors and that number will depend on which "ward" of the town you live in (North, Central, West or South East). For example, you will be able to vote for 3 Councillors if you live in North Ward. The Wards are shown on this map:
I intend to stand as an Independent Candidate for both Bucks Council and also Beaconsfield Town Council North Ward. In both of these elections you will be able to vote for 3 Candidates, including me.
You may prefer to apply for a postal vote instead of voting at the Polling Station. If you apply to vote by post, you will receive your ballot paper about 2 weeks before the election. To arrange to vote by post, you need to complete the form which you can find here: https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/i-am-a/voter/voting-person-post-or-proxy/voting-post
The deadline to apply for a postal vote is 5pm on Tuesday 20th April (and you must be registered to vote by midnight on Monday 19th April).
Once you have completed your postal vote form, you can scan it and email it to elections.csb@buckinghamshire.gov.uk OR post it to Electoral Registration Officer, Buckinghamshire Council, King George V House, King George V Road, Amersham, HP6 5AW.
